Code Of Conduct

In conjunction with providing superior football training, the Muscat Football Academy aspires to the highest level of personal conduct from all of MFA’s participants. This is an important component in providing optimal player development conditions.

In general, MFA expects ALL participants (players, coaches, game officials and spectators) to:

  • abstain from using abusive behaviour, both physical and verbal
  • abstain from the use of profanity
  • abstain from the use of tobacco, alcohol or illegal drugs in the playing and spectator areas
  • treat ALL participants with respect and to maintain self-control

Specifically, MFA expects COACHES to:

  • act as a role model for their players, demonstrating respect for fair play and good sportsmanship
  • provide constructive feedback in order to improve the skills of their players
  • always respect the decisions of game officials
  • know and abide by the Laws and rules of the game

MFA expects PLAYERS to:

  • show respect for their coaches and teammates by always being prepared to play and practice at the best of their abilities
  • protect the physical health of opponents by avoiding violence and rough play
  • always respect the decisions of game officials
  • know and abide by the Laws and rules of the game

MFA expects SPECTATORS to:

  • support the efforts of players, coaches and game officials in a positive and constructive manner
  • always respect the decisions of game officials

MFA expects GAME OFFICIALS to:

  • officiate the game in a fair and unbiased manner
  • follow the rules set by their governing body

Each academy affiliated with MFA is responsible for ensuring that it`s coaches, players and spectators adhere to these policies.
